![]() ![]() ![]() It’s full on 24/7! This is a 3 star resort at 6 star prices. Usually no thank you works, not the case here. Pool was warm and Ok Ocean was Ok Resort is falling apart and I was told it’s closing in December so they are limping by till then so they’ve increased the time share pressure to where it’s unbearable to say the least. ![]() ![]() Just a blatantly shady place around every corner. Second time I heard this exact statement this week. I questioned the pool supervisor and was told the pool guys need to make money too. I could be reading into it but it seemed like if you were Spanish you did not have to pay to sit in front of their little hut area. I watched these transactions every morning of my week. The pool guys run a scam where the take all the preferred seating around the pool and put items on them like would be the case someone had claimed the chair, then they try to sell you the chairs when you inquire about them. The bars at the pool had very limited choices and as the week progressed they were running out of everything and not restocking a lot of people were talking about the situation. Shady!! The buffet was the worst food I’ve ever encountered anywhere in Mexico. Once again my pause not welcomed then was told she was joking. When I asked about the 250.00 upgrade charge I was told the check in personnel need to make money too. She then tried to convince me that she had taken care of getting us a room upgrade. The next morning the legendary concierge asked us if we had been taken care of and I told her we had received the same original room we had paid for. We were given our keys and the room was exactly what I had originally paid for through our membership. I guess my pause wasn’t welcomed and was then told we could have top level free of charge. When we went back at 3 I was given a standard room which was ok with us, but when I asked about top level I was told it would cost 250.00 more. Because we checked in before 3 pm we had to go back to the front desk to retrieve room keys after 3. Upon checking in the legendary concierge told us since we’re such great members our room was being upgraded to top level. Everything here is a scam from the time you enter the property. I have actually cancelled my membership during this trip. This is by far the worst resort I have ever been to. I have been to approximately 20 resorts to Mexico in the last 7-8 years. I want to preface this as a legendary member with HR for the last 6 years. We wanted to make sure our couple had great shots of their beautiful venue, so we spent some time the day after the wedding getting some location and detail shots for them, shown below. We were more than happy to accompany them to Mexico, as it had been a few years since our last destination weddings in Stockholm, Sweden and Jackson Hole, Wyoming! Melissa and Krim had begun to plan a traditional wedding but soon became bogged down with planning and preparation and decided to scratch that plan and keep things simpler with a destination wedding in a gorgeous location. A destination wedding at the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico? Yes, please! Krim and Melissa’s wedding was just phenomenal!īegin with a fantastic and beautiful couple, add in an exotic location, and top it off with perfect weather (warm sunshine with with a cool breeze) and you’ve got an idea of how great this day was! ![]()
